Artist, Illustrator, Author
Happiest at my easel, in the water, tending my bees or pulling veggies from the patch!
I’ve entered a new phase of my life … enjoying a slower pace, cultivating creativity & awesome avocados on our farm in Margaret River.
My work reflects my cheeky, positive personality, love of the ocean, surf, yoga & the iconic kombi van.
Self taught, I began painting around 30 years ago, working mostly with acrylic & palette knife.
Recent travels have led me to more mobile mediums of pen & wash (water colour), creating quirky kombi scenes, characters & commissions.
My art naturally took a commercial path, with original works evolving into tourism merchandise, supporting small business & promoting the stunning regions in which I’ve lived.
A rewarding career in local government spanning 30 years, provided me so many opportunities for connection & creative collaboration. Thank you City of Mandurah, I shall be forever grateful!
Combining my passions of surf, art & building community resilience, I supported Surf Aid for 5 years, donating at 5-10% of sales to their very worthy cause. Learn more about my partnership with SurfAid here.
I’m now focusing efforts closer to home, where my ‘Quirky Merch’ is helping raise funds for the Country Women’s Association of WA.
A regular contributor to the Margaret River Art Auction & Incognito Art Show.
I take great pleasure in sharing my love of art & encouraging others on their path to creativity & contentment.
